I’ve seen skarlin a few times now and since I met her I just knew she was the stylist for me. While being with her I’ve always done my hair straight. Shes always educated me on my hair even tho I never wore it curly as an option, but I never felt she was pushy. With the humidity lately, I decided to take in my curls and she gave me my very first curly cut and I’m in love. From giving me my chunky highlights, to my first curly cut ever, I 100% recommend skarlin as your stylist/colorist! The atmosphere of the salon is amazing as well and literally the BEST shampoos, I always almost fall asleep by how relaxed I am!

Skarlin, and the team in general at art and autonomy are fantastic! My hair has never been better, and I wouldn’t trust any other person more than Skarlin with my hair. Took this video of my hair right after I got it done, and she gave me exactly what I wanted! Front facing layers that don’t wrap around to the back so they can maintain my length but keep growing it out in a healthy way. She’s recommended products styling tools and routines that might help me, and helped me figure out exactly what is going to work best for my hair throughout the year, whether or not that was the best thing for her own money. She has my heart and my hair for life ❤️‍🔥

After years of struggle to find someone who understands my curly wavy hair texture I’m so glad I found Jenna here! I no longer fear haircuts. Highly recommend Jenna to all those with the in between hair texture. Also the salon is always clean, with comfortable warm lighting (none of that harsh white light); always a great experience!

I’ve been going to Skarlin for years now and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. Art + Autonomy Salon as a whole is just amazing, the vibe is great, all of their stylists are super talented, and you’re honestly in excellent hands no matter who you book with. For my hair, Skarlin does a little bit of everything. I get it straightened, we do heavy bleaching for my blonde balayage, all of it. Anyone who colors their hair knows that much processing can totally ruin your hair if the stylist doesn't know what they're doing, but my hair is still so healthy and thick with zero damage. She is also amazing with texture and natural curls (I mean THE BEST), which is super hard to find. I’m putting up some pictures of my hair both straight and curly so you can see what I mean. She genuinely cares about hair health and is always honest about what your hair can handle. If you want an incredible salon and a stylist who actually knows what they’re doing, definitely go here!

Skarlin is the hairdresser of my dreams!!! I was never too confident in my curly hair but after seeing Skarlin my mindset has completely changed. She's cut my hair 3 times over the past year and every time I leave happier and happier with my hair!! Skarlin is not only skilled at what she does but she is also incredibly kind, I'm always looking forward to my next appointment with her. To anyone looking for a new hairdresser (especially if you're a curly girl like myself) I cannot recommend Skarlin enough!!!
